The results: An independent engineering group that modeled the Taco Innovation & Development Center found that it uses just 35% of the energy of a comparable, standard building, and has an energy savings of 29.1% over an ASHRAE 90.1-2007 baseline code compliant building. This corresponds to an Energy Star rating of 88 (out of 100), meaning the new building consumes less energy per square foot than 88% of comparable buildings.

Join Taco at Mechanical Systems Week
September 19 - 21
Mechanical Systems Week kicks off next month with a full slate of events, seminars and the RPA annual membership meeting and system showcase awards, September 19 21, at the Schaumberg Convention Center, Schaumberg, IL.

On Friday, September 21, Taco will also present the keynote address, "Getting in and out of hot water: Lessons in a lifetime of hydronic heating," by Rich Trethewey.
