Taco Launches CADworks BIMXchange Revit Content BrowserAt the AHR Expo, Las Vegas, NV, January 31, 2011 - Taco has announced the Web launch of CADworks BIMXchange for the distribution of their existing library of BIM objects for the Autodesk Revit® platform. BIMXchange provides ease-of-use for Revit users; it is a powerful accompaniment to Autodesk Seek®. BIMXchange is a fast, reliable Revit content tool. "It enables us to quickly find specific Taco equipment, and then easily insert the selected piece into a BIM," stated Chris Eversole, PE and MEP system designer for Moses & Associates, in Gainesville, FL. "It removes the bottleneck in having quick access to Taco system content." BIMXchange provides quick access to large libraries of indexed and searchable Revit content via an intuitive user interface. Once selected, BIM objects can easily be inserted into design models. BIMXchange eliminates redundancy while increasing uptime and reliability for any firm’s IT staff. "BIMXchange now provides Taco with an ability to effortlessly provide engineers and specifiers with Building Information Modeling," said Tom Lawrence, senior VP, Taco commercial sales. "BIMXchange contributes to the technical relevance we need to provide, and we look forward to growing our relationship with CADworks."
