Taco's Solar X-Pump Block®At the AHR Expo, Orlando, FL, January 25-27, 2010 - Taco's Solar X-Pump Block® (SXPB) combines a variable speed solar differential temperature control, bronze heat source and heat sink circulators, and a stainless steel flat plate heat exchanger into one compact package. The variable speed controls are designed to match solar collector output, a feature that increases system performance by 20%. With just four pipe connections, the installation is complete. The Solar SXPB can be set up to maintain a temperature differential between the solar collector(s) and up to two primary and optional auxiliary storage tanks. The unit can support a booster pump as part of a drain-back system, and comes with a heat dump option and freeze protection. The X-Pump Block's large LCD screen conveniently displays the amount of thermal energy harvested by the collector. The system also comes with three strap-on sensors. Taco's new products work with any solar thermal application, whether drain-back, open loop or closed loop. The all-in-one design means each Taco product is pre-engineered, pre-plumbed, pre-wired and easy to install. Click here to learn more. |
