New High Performance 2400 Series Circulators From Taco


At the AHR Expo, Orlando, FL, January 25-27, 2010 - Taco's new, 2400 Series pumps are designed for quiet, efficient operation in a wide range of medium to high flow/head applications, including hydronic heating, chilled water cooling and hot water recirculation.

The 2400 Series' space-saving, close-coupled, maintenance free motor with permanently-lubricated bearings and carbon/silicon-carbide mechanical seal provides superb reliability for a wide variety of uses.

The pumps are available in cast iron or stainless steel for a broad range of larger residential and commercial hydronic systems. Typical applications also include snow melt, high pressure drop boilers, outdoor wood boilers, geothermal heat pumps, primary/secondary loops and hydro-air fan coils. Stainless steel circulators – which meet California AB1953 and Vermont < 0.25% lead law requirements – are well suited for open-loop domestic water recirculation systems.

The circulator's small, compact design also makes it an ideal choice for many boiler OEMs seeking a high performance pump with a small footprint.
