September HVAC Shipments Trend Lower
U.S. factory shipments of various heating and cooling equipment continued lower for the most part in September, according to figures compiled by the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (link -- www.ahrinet.org) Only shipments of oil-fired warm air furnaces and residential gas water heaters bucked the trend with gains versus September 2008.
