Taco will exhibit in booth # 2561 at the 2008 ASHRAE-sponsored Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration (AHR) Exposition when it opens tomorrow, January 22, for a three-day run at the Javits Convention Center, New York City.
Attendees are invited to stop by the Taco booth, say hello and see a variety of new products the company will introduce at the Expo
Along with Taco, some 1,800 other exhibitors will occupy more than 363,000 sq. ft. in the Center. Joining the predominantly U.S. exhibitors are 385 companies representing 39 countries.
In a recent survey, 68% of pre-registered attendees said that their customers’ top concerns were cost, followed by reliability (65%), energy efficiency (64%) and comfort (54%).
When asked the same question, pre-registered exhibitors also ranked product costs first (74%), followed by energy efficiency (64%), maintainability (60%) and sustainability (52%).
The survey, conducted by ASHRAE Journal, also found that attendees expect health care and large commercial to be strong market segments in 2008. Respondents also said that retrofit/renovation is their best prospect for business this year.
Market growth outside the U.S. continues strong, exhibitors reported. Nearly 80 % of exhibitors have a presence or plans for a presence in Asia/Pacific. This was followed by Europe (72 percent), Mexico (71 percent), Central/South America (57 percent) the Middle East (56 percent) and Africa (23 percent)
