The Programs:

The "Compleat" Boiler Room (CBR)
Webster defines "compleat" as "being an outstanding example of a kind, quintessential." Taco's The "Compleat" Boiler Room will show you how to make your boiler rooms outstanding in every way. We'll discuss sizing and near-boiler piping for both cast iron and modulating-condensing boilers. We'll also discuss the proper sizing and application of circulators and zone valves, and discuss zoning strategies with a heavy dose of hydronic electronics thrown in for good measure. The "Compleat" Boiler Room is an advanced training program covering the latest in controls and products, with extended hands-on opportunities. The program is designed for and will benefit any experienced hydronics installer or designer.

Strictly Radiant (SR)
Taco's Strictly Radiant is just that - strictly radiant. In this exciting two-day program, you'll learn not only the concepts and theories behind radiant heating, but you'll learn real-world water temperature control strategies as well as advanced zoning strategies that will make your radiant systems shine. The program will also illustrate the unique boiler piping strategies required by radiant for both cast iron and modulating-condensing boilers, as well as the proper way to apply, install and program outdoor reset controls. Strictly Radiant is an advanced training program covering the latest in technology, with extended hands-on opportunities. The program is designed for and will benefit any experienced radiant installer or designer.

Hydronic Heat Loss & Design (HHD)
Any good hydronics system begins with a heat loss. Taco's program, Hydronic Heat Loss & Design, will show you how to conduct an accurate, effective residential heat loss analysis using a pencil, paper and a calculator. You know, the old fashioned way. Once that's in the books, we'll break out the new technology – Taco's state of the art FloPro Design Software. Using laptop computers in our high tech training lab, you'll gain valuable, hands-on experience with the most advanced, yet easiest-to-use design software in the industry.
